KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 2 –– A wild elephant carcass used to be chanced on floating in Sungai Pahang diagram Lubuk, Kampung Besul the day before at present after it used to be chanced on by a fisherman at the river at around 6pm.
Fisherman Azman Yusoff, 54, spotted the uninteresting animal when he used to be casting a fishing fetch, based entirely on a yarn in the Novel Straits Instances this day.
“I used to be travelling on my boat between Kampung Besul and Kampung Pulau Mansok to solid my fishing fetch when I spotted a distinguished object floating. I believed it used to be a little bit of log.
“I chanced on the scale and form of the thing moderately weird and wonderful and went nearer to search. Once just a few metres away, I used to be surprised to search out it used to be the carcass of an elephant,” stated Azman, who believed the animal might well per chance perchance also need slipped and fallen into the river ahead of being swept away by river’s sturdy currents.
“Since there used to be quite just a few wood debris floating alongside the river, I obvious to leave the carcass in the river.”
